Since 1983 L.I.F.E. has been committed to helping our participants
achieve their goals in an environment that safeguards their human
rights, individual dignity and personal well-being.
L.I.F.E. is a voluntary agency serving persons with disabilities, special
needs, and their families, without regard to sex, national origin, race,
color, or creed. Our role is to provide leadership in marshalling broad
public support to deepen knowledge and disseminate knowledge,
skills and methods to make them available to all.
L.I.F.E. believes that the greatest need of persons with disabilities is to
be part of their community life to the fullest extent of their acceptance
by their community as individuals with rights and responsibilities.
To meet this need L.I.F.E. believes that services should be provided to
persons with handicaps which will help them attain maximum physical
improvement and emotional maturity, and to secure education, training
and employment opportunities consistent their abilities. |
