The Adult Medical Day Program is the newest addition to our company. The day program opened its doors on February 12, 2007. Our Adult Medical Day Care program is designed to maximize the independence of the participants and to help maintain or improve their current level of abilities. These services are available to individuals from age 18 and older who may have a mental or physical disability, or medical difficulties .
Participants enjoy a variety of services including medical care, scheduled activity programs, nutritious morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and other specialized services. Meals, snack planning and preparation is overseen by our certified food manager.
Our social worker provides one on one interaction with families and assists with the admitting process. Upon admission, each individual has an interdisciplary team, consisting of a nurse,social worker and activities coordinator, to provide the most thorough assessment of all participants.
Medical Care is provided by On-Site Nursing Staff who provide ongoing physical assessments, and follow up with all medical care that our participants may require. Our Registered Nurse has 20 years of experience and has been on our team for many years.
Scheduled Activities
Our participants enjoy a variety of scheduled activities daily as well as community outings and special event programming each month. Daily scheduled activities include physical fitness programs, range of motion, sensory stimulation, fine and gross motor activities, Men and Women’s Groups , arts and crafts, music programs, cooking groups, grooming, games, computer, and story hour/reading groups. All of these activities are supervised by our Activities Coordinator.
Our participants enjoy a vast range of physical fitness activities, such as Mall Walks, Community Walks, modified sports and exercise . Under nursing supervision, we provide a bi-weekly assisted walking program for participants who require additional support while ambulating.
Range of Motion Activities
In conjunction with our nursing support, our participants participate in range of motion activities designed to optimize their physical capabilities.

Our Snoozelen Multi-Sensory Environment provides peaceful and comfortable environment where our participants can relax and enjoy a positive sensory stimulating experience.

Hours of Operation: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday including all holidays except Thanksgiving and and Christmas
Service Area: Baltimore,Towson, White Marsh, Rosedale, Essex, Ellicott City, Columbia, Glen Burnie. Generally around the 695 Beltway and 95.
Transportation is provided to and from the program for participants located in our general service area. We also provide transportation to most medical appointments that occur during regular program hours.
